The Nehru family is an ancient Indian political family. The Nehru family is a very large family. Over the years, this family has moved from and to the Indian Subcontinent from Europe and other parts of the world. There are also different ancestral/variants to the Nehru surname, e.g. Nehar, Nehr, Neer, Kaul etc. Therefore, it is interesting to find out the common ancestors of the Nehru family via DNA test results and their geographical migration and location over the years.
The Goal of the Nehru DNA Genealogy Project is to find and connect members of the Nehru Family via DNA test results (through Y-DNA tests for males only, mtDNA test for both males and females, and Family Finder Autosomal DNA). This is a geographical project.
