The Y-DNA haplogroup N has a wide distrubution primarly in northern Eurasia. It is observed in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and Siberia, often associatied in Europe with current and earlier Uralic speakers. Its age is yet to be determined, but estimates suggest at least 10 000 years.
