This project is open to all males with the surnames Montañez / Montanez / Montanes / Montañe, or other variant spelling. The goal is to build a database of Y-DNA profiles to assist in breaking down brick walls, tracing our ancestral roots, clearly establishing our origins, and possibly locating long lost relatives, and branches of our families.
