The focus of this project is on the surname Molyneaux/Molyneux (and other variant spellings). Mx is used as an abbreviation to refer to any spelling. All potential project members are required to briefly explain to project admins how they think they meet the project requirements below, and what they know about their Mx line. The Y-DNA portion of the project is open to any male who descends from a known, or previously unknown, direct male Mx line and has ordered/taken an FTDNA Y-DNA (paternal ancestry) test. The autosomal DNA (family ancestry) portion of this project is open to males and females who descend from a male or female Mx (up to 5X great grandparent level).
