The Missouri DNA Project has been created to assist genealogists and historians in exploring the history of Missouri, by locating and documenting the pedigrees, as well as the matching DNA sequences, of those families who settled in the are of Missouri throughout it's history.  A person of any surname believed to have lived in Missouri during any time before and after the establishment of Missouri as a state is welcome to join the Missouri Project, both men and women.

We will be looking at family ties, as well as deep ancestral roots where possible.  Using DNA testing we hope to identify the unique markers common within each family line.

The Missouri Project is open to both men and women.
