This DNA Project is dedicated to research on the Families of Mississippi. This project is open to both men and women Y-DNA / MT-DNA. In order to join this project you must have had at least one Family line that spans three generations in the state of Mississippi, or the Mississippi Territory (prior to 1818), and/or from the bordering counties (parishes) of other states such as Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee.
