The Menges Family Project seeks to prove the relationship between various Menges immigrants who arrived in 1709, 1749 and 1754. We also welcome others who arrived later in groups or individually. All variant spellings are welcome. Research proves that the J. Conrad line from the 1749 group and the J. Carl line from the 1754 group are related. We say the other lines are probably relatd, but we cannot prove it. With the Y-DNA test we will know scientifically that they are related and came from the same ancestor in Germany.
