Johann Henrich Männchen Haplogroup: R1b1b2a1b* (P312) Married Anna Catharina Stein in 1705 in Breckenheim, Hessen-Darmstadt. His son Johann Peter Männchen (b. 1708) emigrated to Pennsylvania in 1751 with his family. The original family farm "Ipstone" is north of Manchester, Maryland.
  • Kit N3432 (Mancha): Descendant of Valentine Menche b. 1775 in Maryland1, third son of Georg Philipp Männchen son of Johann Peter Männchen
  • Kit N62948 (Mankey): Descendant of Peter Mankey of Greene Co. Pennsylvania. According to the 1860 US Census born in Maryland in abt 1772.2 Because the results matched Kit N3432, the test confirmed the belief that he was the same as Peter Menge, born 1774, the second son of Georg Philipp Männchen documented in the Zion Church records in Manchester, Maryland
  • Kit N72671 (Menchey): Descendant of Adam Menchey (1782 - 1872) born in Maryland, who lived in Littlestown, Adams County, Pennsylvania3. Judging from the close geographical location, the similar surname, and especially now the unique 12-marker Y-DNA match, Adam was almost certainly a grandson of Johann Peter Männchen, although who his father has yet to be proven conclusively.
