About us
Descendants from around the world have reported that around 1688 William of Orange gave land in Northern Ireland to two or three MENARY brothers. They were weavers by trade; possibly persecuted Huguenots from Southern France.
The purpose of this project is to prove these theories, create DNA links between MENARYS around the world and our original ancestors in Ireland and France, and validate the existing research.
Our first goal is to encourage MENARY males (of any spelling) with Irish or French ancestors to participate to achieve our objectives.
Our second goal includes male or femal. Anyone can participate with Family Finder in our project as long as there is some Menary connection.
