First DNA kit has been sent out to a MECUM descendant in the direct line from the above John Mecum born 1763 NJ, through his son David born 1811 in Williamsport, Lycoming Co. PA. My hope is that males in other MECUM lines will submit their DNA for research and hopefully we can connect the MECUM bloodlines.
