This project is primarily for Y-DNA test results from males with the last name of McCorkle, McCorqodale or any of the variations listed above.  We also accept autosomal (Family Finder or equivalent) DNA results from any person, male or female, who has a direct ancestor with one of those names, no matter how far back.

Y-DNA particpants will be accepted simply by their last name.  Autosomal participants must provide the name and basic information about their qualifying ancestor, as well as their relationship to them.  For example, Elias McCorkle, b. 1847 d. 1910 Union Co. NC, gg-grandfather.
