The McNair Family Project is open to all who are interested in working together to find our common heritage through sharing of  family information and DNA testing. 

All variant spellings are welcome along with anyone who suspect that their family line connects with the linage.

As the y-DNA (male) and mt-DNA (female) test for marker that are handed down along the Paternal and Maternal lines only. The Family Finders(Autosomal) test will allow you a match with anyone who you share a common ancestor along all lines. Common ancestry could be either a male or female.
