We expected to find the McHenrys of the Lochan, a branch of the O'Cahan clan, descended from Henry O'Cahan. Like the O'Cahan parent stock, these McHenrys have SNP marker M222 and have Kanes as well as McHenrys amongst their DMA matches.
We also found a Henry/McHenry group whose matches include people named McCain, no relation of the O'Cahans but really MacEain shortened to McCain.
Perhaps unsurprisingly another group of Henry/McHenry folks match the Scots Modal Haplotype, or appear to be a variant of it. This group would likely have SNP marker L1335.
