Having heard about DNA testing for genealogy purposes, I was sceptical and had the usual fears about loss of privacy and questions about reliability, but when I saw my YDNA results compared to the results of the other Irish clans I was amazed. There are many similarities with the Sullivan clan which we are originally associated. I am now convinced DNA technology is the most important tool we genealogists have at our disposal.
