This project is for those persons having the McCartney surname or something similar and have done (or will do) YDNA testing. Individual YDNA results will be categorized into haplogroups and, when matches are found, sub-grouped into lineages indicating a likely common common ancestor. Since YDNA is possessed only by males, females should submit samples from their father, brother, or paternal uncle, etc, for YDNA testing. Please give the administrator(s) of this project at least Limited Access to your data so we can view and compare your results.
