Quoting from official records…:The Hearth Money Rolls for Co Sligo dated 1664 to 1666 lists a total of three Mc Carrick homesteads for the County. One Templehouse, one Grange and one Cloonbaniff.
Griffith’s Valuation of Ireland 1848 to 1864 lists a total of 34 Mc Carrick homesteads for Co Sligo. 3 Mc Carrick homesteads just across the Sligo borders in Co Mayo and one Mc Carrick homestead at Convoy, Co Donegal.
Did all Mc Carrick’s come from one common ancestor?
