About us
1) To find confirmation of Sephardic origins of Massion, either in France or in Spain by surveying matches that involve Levite legacies, Sephardic backgrounds and other indicators. Eric Friedman, a member of FamilyTree DNA, has begun this exciting process.
2) To rally and invite other Massions (Macion/ Mosion) who are not Jewish to join and swab, beginning with the YDNA-37 level at minimum. This only requires ONE MALE sample from a family, preferably the oldest living generation. With these results, we might be able to piece together the origins of the family name and, ideally, create a timeline that was unfathomable 10 years ago. (Or at least have an excuse to travel!)
