This group covers Manuel and Hebert Surnames. It was started as a search for my family research dead ends. All of the initial participants settled in the Southwest Louisiana area and there are Acadian Heberts there who took the dit Manuel(They are descendants of Jean Hebert dit Manuel or Emmanuel whose family was deported from Nova Scotia). But we are looking for all persons with these surnames regardless of their location or spellings.
