As with all Surname Projects, the aim is to  gather all the Mansons (and their variant spellings) into one place and learn when and where they

split from their earlier families.
Although many administrators concentrate only on the Y-DNA aspect of genetic testing, whether you are male or female and whether you

take the Family Finder test, you are welcome if you know you have Manson blood in your veins.
Please don't waste your effort by joining us unless you have a good reason.  Even better, both you and a relative join at the same time.

If you have a relative (or a match) in say MyHeritage or in Ancestry.com, you are also welcome to transfer those results into FTDNA.
The easiest method to do this is to extract those autosomal results to your computer by clicking on the following URL and reading the instructions.

Then go to www.ftdna.com and in the top toolbar  Press Transfer followed by pressing on Autosomal.
