This project was created to determine the relationship between the various American Mangum lineages & variants including, Mangham, Mangrum, etc. We specifically want to determine if there was one or maybe several immigrant ancestors. We also hope to determine the English procurer(s) of the American surnames. Various theories have identified the possible English variants as Mangham, Mingham, Mengham, Malham, Mangall, Mangles, Maugham, Maughan, Manghn, etc.
