We are descendants of jewish immigrants who came to America at the end of 19th and beginning of 20th century. 

They came from Pale in Russia, nowadays Ukraine to New York.
We are guessing the date of birth of our oldest known ancestor Barnett Berl Maidman to be c.a. 1805.
We are not certain where exactly he lived or where most of Maidman relatives came from.
