About us
The original goal of the Mahan DNA Project was to connect to John Mahon from Virginia, 1770's.
The quest has been extended to link any Mahan/Mahon families with matching DNA.
All who have Mahan/Mahon/McMahan/McMahon/Machan DNA to contribute are welcome to join so we can determine the ancestral homelands of the Mahan surname. Also, all members of the BY9405 haplogroup and down stream branches (BY9406>M7465) are invited to join.
