Welcome to the Magoon surname DNA Project. This project is open to all Magoons (and variant spellings) who wish to know their paternal genetic heritage, especially as an aid to genealogy and family history studies. Magoons who trace their line back to Scotland are particularly sought but families with forebears who settled elsewhere are also welcome. The goal is also to encourage residents of Scotland with the surname Magoon or similar variation to join the project in hopes of connecting the bridge from the other side.
