The project will attempt to discover relationships among Magness families and families which have similar names. It also will attempt to identify the national and ethnic origins of families or individuals.

This project uses Y-Chromosome testing. Therefore the DNA sample must be provided by a male MAGNESS with an unbroken male MAGNESS line.<
