This project is to prove that all of the 6 sons of John Thomas and Rachel Davis Medearis, of Middlesex County, Virgina (1704) were indeed brothers.

We also want to prove that everyone with the surname spellings, Madaris, Medaris, Medearis, McDaris, McDearis, Medaries and McDaries are all descended from the same one ancestor who first shows in Lancaster County, Virginia in 1658: Domingo Maderas.

We further hope to discover the true origins of Domingo Maderas and our family's path to the United States in the 1600s
