This site is based on the name variations of MacLochlainn, (Mac -Loch-klin) giving us MacLaughlin, Macklin, Macklem, Macklan, Macklainn having "lost" the Loch in the name as we moved further away from our ancient heritage (henege) lands of Loche Foyle.
