The goals of this project include, determining what DNA loci separate between Luptons and other surnames, and building a Y-chromosome tree of the Luptons, in order to see our relationship to each other past where genealogy can bring us.  The other goal of this project is to see other surnames that are also family with Luptons, way back before surnames started, or from any time when names weren't stable in patrilineal lines.  It includes the goal to find lost Luptons who have a different surname now, or for them to be able to identify who they were related to.  Similar surnames, as well as geographically related surnames, are included in this group to see if there is any connection.  The best matches of each member also join.
