About us

Using DNA results allows those who have not been able to trace their ancestors using traditional paper trails to connect to their expanded family.  Often, those "proven" paper trails are actually proven to be incorrect.  This is a good thing, though, and helps all Llewellyns (and all spelling variations) know who they do NOT descend from.

This level of DNA testing is for genealogical purposes only. It does not provide proof of siblingship, but it does allow us to know which "family" we fit into.

The 37-marker test offers the best value! The 12- and 25-marker tests only provides matches against such a broad base of ancestors (within the last 1,000 years or more) that the results don't hold much meaning. The 37- or 67-marker test provides much better (closer) matches and allows you to potentially match another within the past 200 years. It still cannot prove the exact father but certainly provides the general family.
