The project was established in an attempt to help family tree researchers sort out the various Litzinger/Leuzinger (and other spelling variants) families around the world. This is a difficult name, because two people who share the same spelling may not be related, and two people who spell the name differently may share a common ancestor.

Please submit your DIRECT LINE OF DESCENT (from your oldest proven Litzinger/Leuzinger (any spelling) to your project administrators. Please include date of birth and death (if you know it) and location of where they were born, lived, or died.

You can add family lore regarding origins/connections/ethnicity, and speculated lines of descent. Please email this information to project administrators as well.
