The Krout surname project was started on July, 27 2012.  The ultimate goal of this project is to see if all men with the Krout or equivalent surnames are related.  Specifically seeking direct male descendants of:
 
1.) Krout family that settled in York County, PA 
2.) Krout family that settled in Bucks County, PA
3.) Krout family from South Carolina/Kentucky/Indiana  

Any Krout or equivalent (Kraut, Crout etc.) men from the above mentioned lineages or from an unknown or different lineage are also welcome in the project.
