Primary Goal: develop evidence of the expected connection of Thomas Kinsey to the man we believe is his father, Peter Kinsey Jr, by connecting current day descendants of the various children of Peter Kinsey Jr. This will be done by testing the following lines:
- Thomas Kinsey (b 1781 Culpeper Co VA
- William Kinsey (b 1787 SC)
- Roland Kinsey (b 1790 SC)
- Elisha Kinsey (b 1801 GA)
- Elijah Kinsey (b 1814)
- Joseph Kinsey (b 1815 SC)
Any Kinsey males who believe they are a direct male decendant from any of this individuals are encouraged to join the group and be tested. Please contact the Group administrator for more information.

Step 2: Help with all Kinsey connnections possible, and through analysis of DNA results, development and documentation of as many Kinsey lines as possible.

It is possible that Peter Kinsey's surname at the time of immigration was Kuntz, Kuntze, or Kuntzi. If this turns out not to be the case, we will consider merging our group with the most appropriate surname group.
