1. Help researchers with common or related families work together to find their common heritage.
2. Identify the DNA fingerprints of our ancestors families and compile them and their lost branches into distinct genetic lineages through DNA matches.
3. We believe that all Keplers in America have a common ancestor. This is what this DNA Project is about to help us prove this theory and to find out where our fingerprint origins began.
Our KEPLER Line:
Jacob Kepler & Hannah Livengood married on Dec. 21, 1839. Hannah was born abt. 1820 to Rosanah Livingood.
Children:
1. Elizabeth b. abt. 1841 married Joseph Haines on Dec. 9, 1864. At present we know of one child born a son, William.
2. James b. abt. 1843, information unknown.
3. Mary b. abt. 1847 married Richard Newland on Oct. 30, 1868. They had four children.
4. Nicholas Nathan b. abt. 1851 information unknown.
5. Emery Hall (Oliver/Ohl/Haml) b. Dec. 27,1854 married Martha Ann Newland on Oct. 10, 1875. They had nine children
6. Jobe Dibber b. Dec. 25, 1857 was twice married first to Ellen McCoy on Sept. 1, 1876 (no issue). The second marriage was to Mary Kathleen Penwell on Oct. 29, 1903 and they had 10 children
7. Amanda Sarah Caroline Kepler b. May 28, 1861 married twice Aaron McCoy on Sept. 7, 1876 and they had 10 children. Amanda married James Jett on Dec. 28, 1902 and they had four sons.
