James Kenmore and Robert Kenmore came to this country in the 1700s. James arrived in South Carolina and Robert arrived in New England. At the time this project was established, it is thought that all Kenmores living in the USA are descendants of either Robert or James Kenmore. One of the DNA kits is for a descendant of James and another is for a descendant of Robert. We would like to establish a link between Robert Kenmore and James Kenmore. It is thought that they came from either Ireland, Scottland, or England.
