1)Three family groups with multiple project members have been found.

2) Each of the Joiner-Joyner family groups used the spelling of Joyner at the time of their first known appearance.

3) Each of the three family groups have members who use the Joiner spelling.

4) Each of the three family groups arrive in the Colonial American Period.

5) The familes who trace to Thomas Joyner of Isle of Wight County, VA (1610-1694) are not yDNA related to the familes who trace to Thomas Joyner (b:1720, London, d:17, South Carolina)
