We are millions to have (unexpected) Jewish ancestors in your family tree. The concept is to collect and analyze genealogical data shared by people having found Jewish component in myOrigins, despite the fact they are not officially Jewish or clearly linked to well-known and/or recent Jewish ancestors. For people having administratively-confirmed Jewish ancestry among their ancestors, the access to the project is still possible in some cases, particularly if this Jewish ancestry is equal to or older than 5 generations. If your latest known Jewish ancestors are closer grand-parents (4th,3rd,2nd generation) thanks to join one of the other Jewish projects in FTDNA, we will anyway keep in touch with these projects. -Let's build a community of people sharing this common point -Try to identify clusters and potentially link them with Jewish communities, and with historical events -Build some statistics on these populations, names, locations, and much more
