Those with Icelandic heritage are welcome to join the Iceland DNA Project.
We welcome anyone with any connection to Iceland. The only requirement is that you have tested at or uploadet to FamilyTree DNA.
You can join by clicking the blue "Join" button on your personal FTDNA page. When the project listing appears, click the link for "Iceland" under "Dual Geographical Projects", and then click "Join".
You are welcome to write in Icelandic, if you so prefer.
If you have taken a Y-DNA test, then please join The Greater Nordic Regional Y-DNA Project as well.
If you have taken a mtDNA test, then please join the Scandinavian mtDNA Project as well.

Við tökum vel á móti öllum sem tengjast Íslandi. Eina krafan er að þú hafir farið í DNA greiningu, eða hlaðið upp DNA, hjá FamilyTree DNA.
Þú getur tekið þátt með því að smella á bláa „Join“ hnappinn á persónulegu FTDNA síðunni þinni. Þegar verkefnaskráin birtist skaltu smella á hlekkinn fyrir "Iceland" undir "Dual Geographical Projects" og smella síðan á "Join".
Þér er velkomið að skrifa á íslensku, ef þú vilt.
Ef þú hefur tekið Y-DNA próf, vinsamlegast taktu líka þátt í 'The Greater Nordic Regional Y-DNA Project'.
Ef þú hefur tekið mtDNA próf, vinsamlegast taktu líka þátt í 'Scandinavian mtDNA Project'.
