This is a DNA project for the Hutto family surname. Though all American's with the surname Hutto descend from Isaac Hutto (Hottow), which dna tests have confirmed for the most part, we are expanding this group to include additional surnames. We are also encouraging those with the surname Hutto, Hotto, Hoto, Hodo, Haudot, etc. and any variations to participate as well. If there is not a match we will separate them out in groupings. In the future, once we start getting in results, we will check them against other regional results as well as trying to find potential forebearers in our line from which our last name possibly could have derived.
