The Huntington DNA Project is open to anyone with a Huntington ancestor and a suitable Y-DNA donor who is a direct-line Huntington. All spelling variations are welcome. Direct-male-line Huntingtons can order a Y-DNA 37-marker test (Y37) or even better, Y67. This project's goal is to use DNA in conjunction with traditional genealogy. Providing Huntington pedigrees will strengthen the scope of this project. There are different lineages, and we would like to increases our database to better explore these lineages. Y-DNA from an appropriate Huntington male will offer valuable information for your family tree. To date we have participants in the major haplogroups G and R1b.
