•The Hundley Y-DNA Surname project at FamilyTreeDNA.com now has 11 male members with the surnames Hundley, Hunley, or Huntley and with Y-DNA test results.
•The 11 members are in three different Haplogroups: 8 are in Haplogroup R, 2 are in Haplogroup J, and one is in Haplogroup E.
•Five members who have a 91% chance of sharing a common ancestor in the last 24 generations have been assigned to the Hunley/Huntley subgroup
•Two members in the J Haplogroup have a 99.99% chance of sharing a common ancestor in the last 24 generations and have been assigned to the J subgroup
•Two members in the R-M269 Haplogroup have a 67% chance of having a common ancestor in the last 24 generations and have been assigned to a separate subgroup
•The remaining two members are ungrouped. This means that there could be six different Hundley/Hunley bloodlines.
