The HP Families 590=6 Y-DNA Project is a mixed surname project seeking to find the connection between the various families included in the project. 

Each of the surnames included in this project have had a least one member who have taken at least a 67 Y-DNA marker test which reported DYS590=6 as the 42^nd marker tested. In addition all of these surnames have been tested or projected to be members of Haplogroup R-M269 or a subclade thereof including R-L48, R-U152, R-Z192, orPF6653. Those who have taken the 37 Y-DNA marker test or less are also eligible to join if they are a match to a member with any of the above surnames who tested DYS590=6.
