Although an English spelling, most Howleys today have roots in Ireland, especially in the counties of Mayo, Sligo and Clare. Most Irish families were forced to Anglicize their surnames over time. This project is an attempt to connect those with the Howley surname to others who have a common DNA profile, with or without the surname Howley.
