The Holly/Holley project's goal is to help find family connections for the surname Holly/Holley, including, but not limited to, families who believe they are descended from John Holly, 1618-1681, one of the original founders of Stamford, Connecticut, USA.

By joining the group you agree to provide the project with:

1) The name of the person being tested

2) The name, date and place of birth of the oldest known Holly/Holley/Hawley ancestor.

3) Permission to publish the Y-DNA results along with the name, date and place of birth of the oldest known ancestor.

As of 2025, this project has one administrator, Holly Kilpatrick.  I started this project 20 years ago, and am really getting too old to manage it, and I am not well-versed in the Y700 tests.  I would welcome a new administrator, but it must be someone who would stick to it for years, not someone with a temporary enthusiasm.  If interested, email me at hollyfpk@gmail.com
