Kit Nos. 18897 & 20020 are considered a definite direct line with a 24/25 match and are considered a probable Haplogroup of "R1b1".
Bennett Greenspan of FTDNA explains the results as this: "DYS 464 is a marker that has clearly shown itself to move more than 1 point in one 'event'; therefore, it follows the infinite allele model versus the stepwise model of mutational genetics."
"The method to be used is to esstentially cancel all matching markers and see what is left. In this case, the remainders are a 15 and an 18. If you followed the stepwise model this would be 22/25, but because we believe that the marker moved multiple steps in a single generation, the result is actually 24/25 (24 of the 25 markers match) and the 25th marker has a 3 step change.
