Our research so far has been into the different branches of Jewish, Hungarian Heimlichs, though we realize the Heimlich name appears elsewhere as well. Twenty-nine different branches of Hungarian Heimlichs have been identified using traditional paper genealogy. We hope that DNA will sort these out and tell us which ones have a common ancestor
