The Haught Family of America begins with Peter 1 Haught(Haut) born abt 1720 and died abt 1785 we think. The years are early 1700's. Peter is thought to have emigrated from Germany in 1751 with a wife and daughter named Elizabeth. Peter's first son was named Peter as well, which is my line of descent. (Jay D. Haught)
