Collecting DNA samples from all who have the Hand surname in their lineage, particularly Y-DNA tests from males carrying the Hand surname.
      Secondly, those that have and can share their genealogical history will be of particular importance to the project. DNA code is, after all, only numbers. Hopefully, we will be able to bring the numbers alive with family histories provided by the project members.
