About us
The Hammontree DNA project seeks to determine:
(1) what European country is the ancestral home for Hammontree DNA;
(2) what is the relation of those with surnames Hammontree, Hammond, Hammondtree, Hammontre, etc.; and,
(3) specific genealogical questions that cannot be established from extant documentation, e.g. were John & Sarah Batty Hammontree (married about 1743) the parents of William and Alexander, and was Alexander the father of Jeremiah.
