Question: How long does it take to get my DNA results after I submit my sample?

Answer:  The results vary according to which type of test is ordered.  Y test results are returned approximately 6 weeks after the sample gets to the lab.  Family Finder test results are returned in about 4 weeks.  mtDNA test results are usually completed between six and eight weeks.  If one test if ordered and the follow on additional upgrade is ordered, the clock starts at the beginning again.
