Project Results:
Maryland/Ireland Roots: This is basically Thomas "The Immigrant" Hagons line. It is far reaching and his descendants move over to Kentucky and West. If anyone is interested in checking their ancestry with Thomas "The Immigrant" Hagan from Maryland, #11316 Richard is a direct descendant from this line and you can check your results by his.
A Matching Group: This group is primarily from the Bulloch Co., Georgia area, but they come from various States along the East coast before settling in Georgia. It seems many from this line come from the PA line of Edward, with children, Peter, David, Edward, Patrick, etc.
#34797(Wm Lyon) has matched 24/25 to Phillip & Tom and 23/25 to Marc. Wm's line comes from KY from Arthur Hagan & Barney Hagan c1740.
The Yellow Group mostly come from Ireland, via PA, NC & SC moving on into Ala, Tenn and Kentucky. Some come from a line from John Hagan married to Elizabeth Campbell who came from PA also.
Still alone! #39091(Gary) is from the Daniel Boone/Wilcoxson/Hagan line and he tests show that he does not match anyone who has been tested yet. If you think you might be from this line sign up to be tested and find out. They started in NC and moved into KY.
There are still quite a few who have been tested but have not matched any other Hagan as yet. When results come in from the testing facility, I check to see if they match any group we have already set up and put the next person in the matching group. If no match is found, they stay in the "un-matched" group until someone is tested to does match their results.
