This is a Y chromosome DNA project attempting to determine if men with variant spellings of the Gullett surname and those with closely related surnames (such as Gullick, Gullick, Gillett) are related to each other. This project also is trying to determine if William Gullett and wife Susanna Mills (residents of Somerset County, Maryland in 1671) are the ancestors of the descendants of John Gullett Senior, born about 1726, who resided in Dorchester County, Maryland and Kent County, Delaware. All men with the Gullett (or variant spelling such as Gullet or Gullette) or a similar surname (such as Gullick or Gillett, or similar) are invited to participate.
